Rainbow Elementary and Discovery Middle are the 2015 State Chess Champions!

Alabama School for Math and Science, Mobile, Alabama -- Rainbow Elementary reached new heights at this year's State Scholastic Chess Championship when two of its teams won 1st and 2nd place awards in the Elementary School Division. In addition, Discovery Middle School took home the 1st place trophy in the Middle School Division. Both schools are part of the Madison City School System. Rainbow Elementary also won 3rd place in the Primary (K-3) School Division. And, the Madison City Chess League won 2nd place team in the Elementary Club Division.
