Madison Residents: Register Now for Fall Scholars!

Principal Jamie Golliver and Madison Elementary Chess Team sponsor Sarah Busken at the 2019 MCS Fall Scholars

Fall Scholars Chess Tournament is going online this year via ChessKid.com. We are excited to offer a Rated section that will result in an online rating for our students who compete in USCF rated tournaments as well as a Non-Rated section for students in grades K-5 who are beginners. We will issue a tournament report with the USCF after the conclusion of our Fair Play analysis and validation of all results. For many students, this will be the first opportunity to establish a USCF online rating this school year.

Rated chess tournaments require membership in the United States Chess Federation for every participant. Whether you are joining for the first time or renewing your membership, please include MCCL Affiliate # A6040788 in the membership appreciation code box. You can register for your USCF membership here.

For this year only: MCS Fall Scholars will be an open tournament to all students in grades K-12 residing in Madison.

NEW RULE FOR ONLINE TOURNAMENTS HOSTED BY MCCL: Players may only keep one tab open on your browser during the tournament. Players who open more than one tab and toggle to other pages will be disqualified for a technical violation.
