Time to Register for the City Chess Championship March 25-26th
Be a part of the first Annual Madison City Chess Championship March 25-26th at Bob Jones High School. After five qualifying tournaments to determine who would be invited to compete in the Invitational Section of the tournament, we are now ready to accept online registration for the Open Section of the City Chess Championship. The greatest benefit to competing in the City Chess Championship is the longer time control of 90 minutes with a 5 second delay. This will enable students who are planning to compete in upcoming national tournaments to prepare for the longer game times.
