MORNING CAMPS

LEARN TO PLAY CHESS CAMP - Half-Day Camp - $150

Monday-Friday 8:30-11:30 a.m.

(For students who want to learn to play chess, the basic rules, point values of pieces – workbook provided.  Students will also learn how to capture en passant, rules on draws, opening principles, and be introduced to basic checkmating patterns.)

INTERMEDIATE COMPETITION CHESS CAMP -  Half Day Camp - $150

Monday-Friday 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. 

(For students with a USCF rating 600-1200)

AFTERNOON CAMPS

BEGINNING COMPETITION CHESS CAMP - Half-Day Camp -$150

Monday-Friday 1:30-4:30 p.m.

(For students who know how to play chess, have completed the Learn to Play Chess class, but are unrated, or have a USCF rating below 600. Students registering for this camp should have played in at least one tournament in a non-rated section.)

ADVANCED COMPETITION CHESS CAMP - Half Day Camp - $150

Monday-Friday 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. 

(For students with a USCF peak rating above 1200) OR (USCF rating above 1000 if you attended a National tournament this year). We will have added focus on blitz and quick skills in preparation for the upcoming State Quick & Blitz Championship. We will conduct a blitz tournament on the last day of camp.
