REGISTER NOW FOR ONLINE SUMMER CHESS CAMP
MCCL is excited to announce an online Summer Chess Camp option for our competitive players. Summer Camp Director will be CM Jonathan Rasberry who also serves as ACF President. Coach Jonathan has worked with our MCCL kids at numerous state and national tournaments as well as previous summer chess camps. Coach Jonathan has invited LM Scott Varagona, State Chess Champion for multiple years; CM Will Stevenson, former State Chess Champion and coach for Rainbow Elementary; CM David Hayes, coach for Mill Creek and Heritage Elementary; and Michael Guthrie, coach for Rainbow Elementary and All Star Chess Club to help teach rotations for multiple levels of competitive players in our area.
Camp classes are arranged according to the students' peak USCF rating. This is a camp for students who know how to play chess and want to improve competitive tournament play. Half day and full day options are available.
EARLY REGISTRATION DEADLINE JUNE 20TH
Morning Camps (9 a.m. - 12 p.m.) - $150 each (until June 20th) $175 until June 24th (last day to register)
- Beginning Competition Camp (100 - 499) 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. (multiple instructors)
- Intermediate Competition Camp (500-899 ) 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. (multiple instructors)
- Intermediate/Advanced Competition Camp (900-1299) 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. (multiple instructors)
Afternoon Camps (1-4 p.m.) - $150 each (until June 20th) $175 until June 24th (last day to register)
- Intermediate Competition Camp (500-899 ) 1-4 p.m. (multiple instructors)
- Intermediate/Advanced Competition Camp (900-1299) 1-4 p.m. (multiple instructors)
- Advanced Camp (1300-1900) - 1-4 p.m. Instructors: LM Varagona & CM Rasberry
FULL DAY CAMP w/ Lunch Break Option $225 (until June 20th) $250 until June 24th (last day to register)
- Intermediate Competition Camp (500-899 ) 9 a.m.-12 p.m. & 1-4 p.m. (multiple instructors)
