Memberships, Fees, And Deadlines

US Chess rated. US Chess membership is required for all sections
and must be obtained before registering for this tournament. US Chess
membership can be obtained online at https://new.uschess.org/become-member .
- Players will be
required to notate their moves as they play.
- Entry Fee: $25 per player for MCCL
members; $30 for non-members
- Registration Deadline: 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2024.

Awards
This
is an individual event, with secondary team prizes. Must have 2 or more players
from a school in a section to be considered a team. The team score is the four
highest scores of players from a specific school.
Individual
Awards: Trophies
for top 8 individuals in K-3 U300 and K-3 Championship; top 6 individuals in
K-5 Championship and K-8 Championship. Top 4 individuals in K-12 Open.
Team
Awards: Trophies for top 4 teams in K-3 U300, K-3 Championship, and
K-5 Championship sections. Top 3 teams in K-8 Championship, and Top 2 teams in
K-12 Open.
