Prize Fund - $460

Based On 12 Entries Per Section

• 1st Place Open: $185
• 2nd Place Open: $125
• 1st Place U1200: $85
• 2nd Place U1200: $65

Prize winners will have a check mailed to the address that you enter when registering for this tournament.  If fewer than 12 players enter in a section, prizes will be paid out at a percentage rate based on the total number of players divided by 12.  If multiple players tie for the same award, USCF rules will be followed on splitting tied prizes.

Membership Requirements

MCCL Monthly Adult Swiss events require both a USCF membership and ACF membership to enter.  Please use the links below if you do not have a membership or your membership is not current.

Register for your USCF id# here.  We recommend Premium Scholastic Membership for students (one year $24) or Premium Adult Membership for adults (one year $46).  USCF membership is required in order to compete in any rated tournaments.

Register for your ACF Membership here.  Alabama Chess Federation membership is $10 per year, and is required for all non-scholastic tournaments in Alabama.
