MCCL has a new location for Monday night meetings starting after Labor Day.  We will move to Dublin Park located at 8324 Madison Pike and use their meeting rooms located between the gym and pool.  Parents can sign their child in to play chess and can stay or run an errand if they leave their cell phone numbers.  A big thank you goes out to the City of Madison and Dublin Park for hosting our Monday night meetings.

MCCL also would like to thank the Hogan Family YMCA for hosting our chess nights for over 2 1/2 years.  As both the YMCA and MCCL memberships continue to grow, we hope this move will be more convenient for members of both organizations.

Monday night chess is free for kids in K-12th grades who know how to play chess.  If your child wants to learn to play chess, register for Learn to Play Chess Night which will be held at Mill Creek Elementary on Thursday September 15th from 6-7:30 p.m.  Another good resource to learn to play chess is this video on www.chesskid.com.
